Job summary

Jasper Engines & Transmissions in Pompano Beach, FL seeks a Delivery Driver to load, drive a 20-24' box truck, and deliver to customers with high service and safety. You will follow DOT rules, perform pre- and post-trip inspections, and help in the branch warehouse.

Schedule is four 10-hour days with Tuesdays off, no weekends or overnights. Benefits begin after 30 days, including medical, dental, vision, 401(k) with match, PTO, and ESOP participation. CDL is not required, a DOT Medical Card is.

Qualifications

• Must obtain DOT Medical Card; CDL is not required.
• Experience driving a 20-24 ft box truck preferred but not required.
• Understanding of how to use GPS.
• Able to lift, bend, push, pull and move products using pallet jack or forklift.

Job Overview

Duties Include:

• Loading, unloading, and driving a 20-24’ box truck.
• Safe and timely delivery to our customers with a high level of customer service.
• Following DOT rules and regulations.
• Conducting thorough daily pre-trip and post-trip inspections.
• Maintaining a clean, professional image of self and vehicle.
• Assisting with branch warehouse support.

Schedule: 4 days per week. Tuesdays off 10-hour shifts and hours may vary. No weekends. No overnight shifts.

Qualifications

• Must be able to obtain the required licensure/endorsement to drive 20-24' box truck, including a DOT Medical Card. (CDL is not required)
• Experience driving a 20-24-foot box truck (preferred but not required).
• Understanding of how to use a GPS.
• The ability to lift, bend, push, pull and move products using a pallet jack and/or forklift.

Pay and Benefits

• Starting rate $20.00/hour.
