Job summary

Oldcastle APG seeks a Delivery Dispatcher to coordinate customer deliveries and manage company trucks and haulers from our Dunn, NC operation. You will schedule shipments, liaise with sales, and ensure on-time, compliant dispatch in a fast-paced environment.

Strong communication, route planning, and problem-solving are essential. Familiarity with DOT regulations and proficiency in MS Office are required for daily logistics tasks.

Qualifications

• GED or high school diploma required.
• Experience in building materials dispatch or transportation preferred.
• Familiar with maps and routing for delivery planning.
• Strong verbal and written communication is essential.

Responsibilities

• Receive and process orders via phone, email and digital channels.
• Prepare a shipping schedule and track outgoing/incoming shipments.
• Coordinate with trucking fleet and outside haulers to meet delivery times.
• Communicate with customers and drivers to dispatch orders timely.
• Understand local DOT/DMV regulations for shipping building products.
