Responsibilities

• Sends text messages, mails form letters and/or late charge notices to encourage payment of delinquent accounts.
• Confers with customers by text or telephone to determine reasons for overdue payments and review terms.
• Documents all correspondence and attempted correspondence with customers concerning accounts.
• Receives payments and posts amounts paid to customer accounts.
• Maintains and balances the assigned cash drawer with proper security.
• Travels to customers’ homes to collect late payments and assist with repossessions with manager approval.
• Prepares paperwork prior to legal action against severely late-paying customers.
• Initiates credit investigations by telephone under the direction of the Credit Manager.
• Logs details of work activities daily, weekly, and monthly.
• Processes documentation and routes reports; reviews, responds, distributes, files as appropriate.
• Operates PC, printer, calculator, copy machines, telephone, and standard office equipment.
• Logs service requests into PQA and schedules merchandise repairs for customers.
• Assists customers on the sales floor; greets customers, demonstrates products, updates CRM.
• Maintains an acceptable sales quota as established by management.
• Complies with store operations customer service standards.
• Promotes the HO.M.E. values in daily work.
• Assists in other store departments as required.
• Performs other related duties as required.
