Job summary

LSI in Elgin, IL is hiring a Payment Reminder Representative for a debt management customer service role. The position starts in-office with potential to work from home after 120 days, provided performance and schedule adherence are met.

Must commute to Elgin initially; remote option requires a dedicated workspace and 50 Mbps internet. Compensation is $17.00 per hour with a possible evening differential of $0.75/hour and bilingual (Spanish) differential for qualifying staff.

Qualifications

• High school/GED required.
• Ability to work evenings and Saturdays.
• On-site training with potential for remote work after proven performance.
• Must be able to commute to Elgin, IL.

Responsibilities

• Proficient typing, listening, computer and reading skills.
• Excellent attendance; able to work scheduled days/evenings, Saturdays and some holidays.
• Navigate multiple computer programs while documenting interactions.
• Handle and diffuse challenging interactions with professionalism.
• Maintain patient and calm communication to ensure customer service quality.
• Meet outbound call targets (approximately 21 calls per hour) and quality reviews (72% monthly, 90% for incentives).
