Qualifications

• HS Diploma or GED is required.
• No prior experience required.
• Excellent telephone and customer service skills.
• Good oral and written communication abilities.

Responsibilities

• Make initial contact with delinquent customers to set up payment arrangements or settlements.
• Manage outbound and inbound calls to resolve delinquent non-real estate accounts.
• Process, distribute, and post consumer loan payments.
• Complete file maintenance on consumer loans.
• Counsel customers on financial obligations and offer alternatives.
• Log accurate notes of account status and collection efforts in the bank’s system.
• May work hours outside of the typical 8-5 workday for collection efforts.
• Ensure compliance with laws, regulations, policies and procedures; complete required training.
• Perform other duties as assigned.
