Job summary

Northwest Plus Credit Union is seeking a Collections Specialist to work with members on consumer and mortgage loans, delivering excellent service while maintaining compliance. The role emphasizes strong communication, accuracy, and adherence to credit union policies.

Experience with credit union systems and prior collection work is preferred; bilingual English/Spanish is a plus. This is a full-time position with benefits and opportunities for growth within loan servicing teams.

Qualifications

• Excellent communication skills, customer service, verbal and written communication.
• Familiarity with the credit union systems.
• Two years of collection experience.
• High School diploma or equivalent.

Responsibilities

• Process reminders, late notices, delinquency reports and collections calls.
• Actively manage delinquent loan and overdrawn account list.
• Take outbound and inbound calls and emails from members regarding their accounts.
• Establish rapport and professional relationship with members through proactive communication.
• Ensure exceptional member service aligned with policies and procedures.
• Maintain confidentiality of member data and adhere to regulations.
