Job summary

Northwest Plus Credit Union is seeking a Collections Specialist to support members with consumer and mortgage loans, delivering excellent service and timely collection actions. You will work with the Loan Servicing team to manage delinquencies, ensure regulatory compliance, and communicate with members to protect accounts and the credit union’s interests.

Qualifications

• High School diploma or equivalent required.
• Two years of collection experience.
• Strong communication skills, both verbal and written.
• Familiarity with credit union systems.

Responsibilities

• Process reminder, late notices, delinquency reports and collections calls as required on accounts.
• Actively work delinquent loan and overdrawn account list.
• Take outbound and receive inbound calls and emails from members regarding their accounts.
• Establish good rapport and professional relationship with members through proactive and prompt communication.
• Responsible for exceptional member service both internal and external that is in alignment with our policies and procedures.
• Represent the credit union in a courteous, honest and professional manner and maintain confidentiality with all member and critical data.
