MY CREDIT UNION seeks a Member Solutions Specialist for the Lyndale Branch in Bloomington, MN. You will manage delinquent consumer and real estate loans, and delinquent Visa accounts, contacting members and documenting actions to mitigate losses.

Qualifications

• High school diploma, GED, or equivalent required.
• 3–5 years of consumer collection experience; credit union experience preferred.
• Knowledge of collection and bankruptcy regulations; strong negotiation skills.

Responsibilities

• Contact delinquent members by phone, email, or letter to determine reasons for delinquency.
• Serve as liaison with outside agencies in collection efforts.
• Develop plans with members to return accounts to current status.
• Notify co-signers of delinquent status and maintain logs of collection activity.
• Secure credit bureau reports as needed to obtain information to resolve accounts.
• Skip-trace and investigate accounts with missing information.
