Sprouts Farmers Market is seeking an Assistant Deli Manager to lead one of the busiest deli teams and help customers choose healthier options. You’ll assist the Deli Manager with staffing, inventory, and production planning while delivering exceptional service in a fast-paced environment.

Qualifications

• Must have at least 18 years old with 2 years supervisory experience in deli or food service.
• Flexible schedule including nights, weekends and holidays.
• Strong written and verbal communication; team oriented.
• Outgoing, friendly demeanor with customers and staff.
• Proven leadership to motivate staff and meet goals.
• Attention to detail and problem solving; food safety certification required.
• Ability to lift up to 70 lbs and stand for long periods; operate deli equipment.

Responsibilities

• Assist Deli Manager in department supervision and merchandising.
• Oversee ordering, inventory, product quality, and staff supervision.
• Coordinate production, merchandising, and sales planning and direction.
• Lead team to deliver high quality product and service experience.
• Assist in hiring, training, and developing the Deli team.
• Unload deliveries and maintain deli equipment; ensure safety guidelines.
• Perform related duties as assigned.
