Sprouts Farmers Market is seeking an Assistant Deli Manager to support the Deli Manager in daily operations, team leadership, and customer service in our fast-paced environment. You will help with ordering, inventory, training, and ensuring health and sanitation standards.

The role requires 18+ with supervisory experience, strong communication, and the ability to lift up to 70 lbs. We offer competitive pay, flexible schedules, and growth opportunities.

Qualifications

• At least 18 years old with 2 years supervisory experience.
• Flexible schedule including nights, weekends and holidays.
• Strong written and verbal communication skills.
• Outgoing, friendly demeanor with customer interaction.
• Proven leadership ability to motivate and maintain staff.
• Knowledge of margin reports, weekly sales numbers and financial goals.
• Food Safety certification and compliance with regulations.

Responsibilities

• Assist the Deli Manager in managing and merchandising the department for maximum productivity and profit.
• Responsible for ordering and inventory controls, product quality, and supervision of the Deli team.
• Coordinate production, merchandising, and sales through planning, direction, and teamwork.
• Lead a team that delivers high quality products and outstanding customer service.
• Assist in hiring, teaching, training, and developing the Deli team.
• Unload and sort store deliveries, operate and maintain deli equipment.
• Ensure adherence to health, safety, and sanitation guidelines and regulations.
• Thrive in a fast-paced environment and contribute to a positive team culture.
