Sprouts Farmers Market, Inc. in Ocala, FL is seeking an Assistant Deli Manager to lead one of our busiest teams and help customers make healthy food choices. You will manage merchandising, inventory, and daily deli operations to ensure quality and exceptional service.

Qualifications

• Be at least 18 years of age with 2 years supervisory experience in deli or related food service.
• Flexible schedule including nights, weekends and holidays.
• Strong communication skills, both written and verbal.
• Outgoing, friendly demeanor with positive attitude toward customers.
• Proven leadership to motivate staff and meet goals with reports/metrics.
• Maintain Food Safety certification and follow sanitation standards.
• Organized and able to manage multiple tasks.

Responsibilities

• Assist the Deli Manager in managing and merchandising the department for maximum productivity and profit.
• Responsible for ordering and inventory controls, product quality, and supervision of the Deli team.
• Coordinate production, merchandising, and sales through planning and teamwork.
• Assist in hiring, teaching, training, developing the Deli team.
• Unload deliveries, operate and maintain deli equipment.
• Ensure compliance with health, safety, and sanitation guidelines.
