Sprouts Farmers Market is seeking an Assistant Deli Manager to oversee one of our busiest departments and help customers make healthy choices in a fast-paced store.

You'll assist the Deli Manager with staffing, scheduling, inventory control, and ensuring product quality while upholding food safety standards and company guidelines. This role offers opportunities for growth in a vibrant team.

Qualifications

• Be at least 18 years of age with a preferred 2 years supervisory experience and strong knowledge of deli or related food service.
• Be dependable with flexible schedule including nights, weekends and holidays.
• Strong communication skills both written and verbal and ability to take and give direction as part of a team.

Responsibilities

• Assist the Deli Manager in managing and merchandising the department for maximum productivity and profit.
• Responsible for ordering and inventory controls, product quality, and supervision of the Deli team.
• Coordinate production, merchandising, and sales through planning, direction, and teamwork.
• Assist in hiring, teaching, training, and developing the Deli team.
• Unload and sort deliveries, operate and maintain deli equipment.
• Ensure compliance with health, safety and sanitation guidelines/regulations.
