Sprouts Farmers Market, Inc. in Leesburg, VA is seeking an Assistant Deli Manager to lead one of our busiest teams in the deli department and deliver excellent customer service while maintaining high product quality.

In this role you will assist the Deli Manager with ordering, inventory control, staff training, and ensuring safety and sanitation standards. You will help coordinate production and merchandising to maximize productivity and guest satisfaction in a fast-paced, friendly environment.

Qualifications

• Must be 18+ with at least 2 years supervisory experience in deli or related food service.
• Flexible schedule including nights, weekends and holidays.
• Strong written and verbal communication; able to take and give direction in a team.
• Outgoing and friendly demeanor with a positive attitude and customer interaction.
• Proven leadership to build, motivate and maintain staff; knowledge of reports and financial goals.
• Food safety certification required; follow all regulations for product freshness and sanitation.
• Strong organization and planning; ability to multitask.
• Must be able to lift up to 70 lbs. and stand for extended periods.

Responsabilités

• Assist the Deli Manager in overseeing department productivity and merchandising.
• Handle ordering, inventory controls, and supervise the Deli team.
• Coordinate production, merchandising, and sales through planning, direction, and teamwork.
• Assist in hiring, training, and developing the Deli staff.
• Unload deliveries and maintain deli equipment; ensure health and sanitation guidelines are followed.
