Job summary

BJ’s Wholesale Club is seeking a Deli Team Member to slice, package, weigh and sell deli products including meats and cheeses. You’ll help maintain displays, ensure freshness, and assist Members with selections in a fast-paced deli department.

Qualified applicants are at least 18 and familiar with deli products; prior slicer operation experience is preferred with a commitment to teamwork and safety in a high-volume retail environment.

Qualifications

• Provides high level customer service to Members and answers questions.
• Slices, packages, and weighs deli products including cheeses and meats.
• Experience operating manual/power slicers and scales preferred.
• At least 18 years of age.

Responsibilities

• Provide excellent customer service at all points of contact.
• Slice, package, and weigh deli products; help customers select items.
• Receive, inspect, stock, rotate, and display deli products.
• Maintain cleanliness and safety of deli area and equipment.
• Ensure accurate pricing and labeling on deli items.
