Job summary

BJ’s Wholesale Club is hiring for a deli team member to slice, package, weigh and sell deli products while delivering friendly service to members. You’ll maintain display cases, assist customers with selections, and ensure food safety and cleanliness throughout the department.

The role requires prior deli experience, familiarity with slicers and scales, and a minimum age of 18. This position emphasizes teamwork, operational accuracy, and strong guest relations in a fast-paced environment.

Qualifications

• Experience in a deli department preferred.
• Experience operating manual/power slicers and scales preferred.
• Knowledge of deli products preferred.
• Must be at least 18 years old.

Responsibilities

• Provide high level customer service to Members and handle special orders.
• Slice, package, weigh deli products and assist customers in selecting items.
• Receive, inspect, stock, rotate and display deli products following safety policies.
• Ensure freshness and quality, check for out‑of‑date products daily.
• Maintain deli equipment and cleanliness; operate scale systems and price items accurately.
• Attend to duties as assigned and ensure attendance is reliable.
