Job summary

BJ’s Wholesale Club is seeking a Deli Team Member to slice, package, weigh and sell deli products, while maintaining clean displays and upholding food safety standards. You will assist Members, handle special orders, and ensure product freshness in a fast-paced deli environment.

Candidates should have deli experience and be 18 or older, with comfort using slicers and scales. This on-site role offers weekly pay and benefits as part of BJ’s extensive team perks.

Qualifications

• Work experience in a deli department preferred.
• Prior experience operating manual/power slicers and scales preferred.
• Knowledge of deli products preferred.
• At least 18 years of age.

Responsibilities

• Provides a high level of customer service to Members and handles questions and special orders.
• Slices, packages, and weighs deli products, helping Members select items.
• Receives and inspects deli shipments and maintains display cases and stock.
• Ensures products are fresh, meets quality standards, and checks for out-of-date items.
• Operates and cleans deli equipment and maintains safety procedures.
• Maintains accurate pricing and signage in the deli area.
