Job summary

BJ’s Wholesale Club is seeking a deli team member to slice, package, weigh and present a wide range of meats and cheeses. You will assist Members, maintain deli displays, and ensure freshness and compliance with safety standards in a fast-paced environment.

This role requires basic deli knowledge, ability to operate slicers and scales, and a commitment to outstanding Member service. Weekend availability and reliable attendance are expected.

Qualifications

• Work experience in a deli department preferred.
• Prior experience operating manual/power slicers and scales preferred.
• Knowledge of deli products preferred.
• At least 18 years of age.

Responsibilities

• Provides a high level of customer service to Members, answers questions and takes special orders.
• Slices, packages, and weighs deli products; assists Members in selecting items.
• Receives, inspects, and displays deli items following food safety and quality standards.
• Maintains freshness, rotates stock, and ensures accurate pricing.
• Cleans and sanitizes deli equipment and work area; adheres to safety policies.
• Performs other duties as assigned and maintains regular attendance.
