Job summary

BJ’s Wholesale Club is hiring in the deli department. You will slice, weigh, and package meats and cheeses, help Members, and keep the deli area clean and well-stocked. Competitive benefits and weekly pay accompany this role.

Qualifications

• Work experience in a deli department preferred.
• Prior experience operating manual/power slicers and scales preferred.
• Knowledge of deli products preferred.
• At least 18 years of age.

Responsibilities

• Provide high level customer service to Members and answer questions or take special orders.
• Slice, package, weigh deli products and help Members select items.
• Receive, inspect, and stock deli shipments; maintain display cases and shelves.
• Ensure products are fresh and meet company quality standards; check for out-of-date items daily.
• Operate deli equipment safely and maintain sanitation of all surfaces and tools.
• Maintain clean, organized deli area and provide a positive Member experience.
