Job summary

BJ’s Wholesale Club is seeking a Deli Team Member to slice, package, weigh and sell deli items, including meats and cheeses. You’ll maintain deli display cases and keep the department clean and organized to ensure a positive member experience.

You will assist Members, answer questions, prepare special orders, and help with stocking. Prior deli experience is preferred; be 18+, comfortable using slicers, scales, and following food safety policies.

Qualifications

• Work experience in a deli department preferred.
• Experience operating manual/power slicers and scales preferred.
• Knowledge of deli products preferred.
• At least 18 years of age.

Responsibilities

• Provide high level customer service to Members and assist with deli items.
• Slice, package, weigh deli products including cheeses and meats.
• Inspect shipments and rotate stock following safety policies.
• Ensure freshness and proper pricing; maintain display cases.
• Operate deli equipment safely and keep surfaces clean.
• Attend to other duties as assigned and maintain regular attendance.
