Job summary

BJ’s Wholesale Club in the United States is seeking a Deli Associate to slice, package and weigh deli products, and to assist Members with selections while keeping display cases inviting and clean.

The role emphasizes customer service, accurate weighing and labeling, adherence to food safety, and teamwork in a fast-paced deli area. Prior deli experience and comfort with slicers are preferred; age 18+ required.

Qualifications

• Deli department experience preferred.
• Prior experience operating manual/power slicers and scales preferred.
• Knowledge of deli products preferred.
• At least 18 years of age.

Responsibilities

• Provides high level customer service to Members and answers questions.
• Slices, packages, and weighs deli products including cheeses and meats.
• Represents proper food safety, cleanliness, and display of deli items.
• Receives, inspects, stocks, and rotates deli products daily.
