Job summary

ROC, your hometown store, seeks a Deli Shift Leader to oversee daily deli operations, ensure policy compliance, and uphold high standards of quality and service.

You will schedule and train the deli team, maintain product presentation, manage inventory and menu updates, and lead by example in customer interactions to positively influence store perception. This role requires strong organizational skills and the ability to multi-task in a fast-paced retail environment.

Qualifications

• High school graduation or equivalent, preferred.
• ServSafe Certification preferred or willing to become certified.
• Knowledge of retail management and people management, a plus.
• Some knowledge of store operations, merchandising, inventory control, food preparation.

Responsibilities

• Monitor daily deli operations to enforce policies.
• Prepare weekly team schedules and train staff.
• Maintain deli appearance and product presentation.
• Manage food inventory and ordering as needed.
• Maintain deli menu as appropriate.
• Model professional interaction with customers and staff.
