Job summary

Global Partners LP seeks a Food Service Supervisor/ Deli Lead to direct the deli and food service department and its staff to meet merchandising, sales and guest service goals.

You'll oversee onboarding, scheduling, training of new team members, ensure food safety compliance and manage inventories and cash handling. This role requires weekend/evening flexibility and a hands-on leadership approach in a fast-paced retail environment.

Qualifications

• High School Diploma or Equivalent required.
• Flexibility to work weekend/holiday/evening shifts.
• 2 years experience in a fresh foods environment, preferably in a supervisory/managerial role.
• Serv-Safe certification preferred.
• Must be able to lift up to 25 pounds and work in walk-in coolers/freezers.

Responsibilities

• Direct department personnel, communicating with store management and supervisors.
• On-board and coach new team members.
• Schedule all team members.
• Provide product information and selling suggestions; assist with guest orders and service.
