Job summary

Global Partners LP seeks a Food Service Supervisor/ Deli Lead to direct the deli and food service department and its staff to meet merchandising, sales and guest service goals. The role emphasizes supervising operations, coaching team members, and maintaining high standards for safety and guest satisfaction.

The position involves scheduling, training, inventory, cash handling, and ensuring compliance with health regulations; weekend/evening work is common, with potential across locations.

Qualifications

• High School Diploma or Equivalent.
• 2 years prior experience in a fresh foods environment, preferably in a managerial role.
• Flexibility to work weekends/holidays/evenings and travel to other locations as needed.
• Must have reliable transportation and an active driver's license.
• Serv-Safe certification preferred.

Responsibilities

• Direct department personnel, communicating with store management and supervisors.
• On-board and coach new team members.
• Schedule all team members.
• Provide product information and selling suggestions; assist with sampling.
• Take guest orders and ensure timely, satisfactory completion.
• Ensure food safety and sanitation guidelines are followed.
