Job summary

Global Partners LP is seeking a Food Service Supervisor/ Deli Lead to direct all activities in the deli and food service department. You will supervise staff, train new team members, and ensure guest satisfaction while maintaining food safety standards.

The role requires handling daily operations, scheduling, merchandising, and accurate cash handling, with a focus on quality and efficiency in a fast-paced environment.

Qualifications

• 2 years prior experience in a fresh foods environment
• High school diploma or equivalent required; ServSafe certification preferred
• Flexibility to work weekends/holidays/evenings; availability to travel between locations

Responsibilities

• Direct department personnel and coordinate with store management to meet goals
• On-board and coach new team members; schedule all staff
• Take guest orders and ensure satisfaction; maintain food safety and sanitation guidelines
• Oversee deli/food service preparation, merchandising, and rotation of items
• Receive merchandise, audit invoices, manage stock levels and inventory counts
• Process cash register transactions and ensure accurate pricing with scale/printers
• Maintain clean, organized counters, prep areas, and walk-in coolers/servers
