Job summary

Global Partners LP is seeking a Food Service Associate/Deli Clerk to manage the deli and food service daily operations, ensuring sanitation, appearance, and guest service. The role includes handling cash, learning POS, scales, and debit terminals, and stocking deli items.

Qualifications

• Experience in food service or retail environment preferred.
• Ability to read labels, signage and product codes.
• Commitment to sanitation and safety standards.

Responsibilities

• Process cash register transactions and provide correct change.
• Learn to operate register, scales, scanners and payment terminals.
• Prepare, wrap, weigh and stock deli/food service items ensuring quality and safety.
• Display products following department guidelines and keep work areas clean.
• Take guest orders and ensure timely, satisfying service.
• Assist with other duties as assigned by the Store Manager.
