Job summary

Global Partners LP is seeking a Food Service Associate/Deli Clerk to manage daily deli and food service operations, ensuring sanitation, store appearance and guest service. The role includes processing transactions, operating POS, weighing and packaging deli items, and maintaining product freshness.

The position emphasizes guest satisfaction, safety, and adherence to company policies with opportunities for growth within a Fortune 500 company serving communities nationwide.

Qualifications

Must be at least 16 years old.
Flexibility to work weekends, holidays, or evenings.
2 years foodservice or retail management experience.
Must have reliable transportation and an active driver’s license.
Serv-Safe certification preferred.
Ability to lift up to 25 pounds occasionally.
Work in walk-in coolers and freezers.
Stand for long periods and bend/twist.
Dexterity to use knives, slicers, burners, ovens, fryers and rotisseries (18+).
Minors may only use OSHA approved knives.

Responsibilities

Process cash register transactions and handle refunds.
Learn to use register, scales, scanners, and debit/credit terminals.
Read UPC codes, product labels, and signage; memorize register keys.
