Job summary

Global Partners LP is seeking a Food Service Associate/Deli Clerk to manage daily deli and food service operations, ensure sanitation, and deliver excellent guest service. The role involves handling cash, learning POS systems, stocking, slicing, and preparing a variety of deli items while complying with safety standards.

The position requires flexibility for weekends/holidays, and offers opportunities for growth, health benefits, and retirement plans.

Qualifications

• Experience in food service or retail management.
• Able to stand for long periods and lift up to 25 pounds.
• Serv-Safe certification preferred.
• Must be at least 16 years old.

Responsibilities

• Process cash register transactions, giving back change and refunds.
• Learn to use register, scales, scanners and debit/credit terminals.
• Learn to use UPC codes, store signage, and memorize register keys and codes.
• Read UPC codes, product labels, shelf signage, and posted company policies.
• Prepare, wrap, box, weigh, slice, and stock deli/food service products.
• Prepare and cook deli items including sandwiches, salads, fried foods, and beverages.
• Work safely around slicers, ovens, burners and rotisseries.
• Take guest orders and ensure satisfaction.
• Maintain clean, organized check stand and production areas.
• Assist other locations as needed.
