Job summary

Global Partners LP is seeking a Food Service Associate/Deli Clerk to manage the deli and food service operations with an emphasis on sanitation, appearance, and guest satisfaction. You will handle cash transactions, operate the register, scales, scanners, and POS equipment while maintaining product quality and safety.

The role includes preparing, wrapping, weighing, slicing, and stocking deli items, cooking hot/cold foods, and ensuring accurate pricing and signage.

Qualifications

• Must be at least 16 years old.
• Flexible to work weekends/holidays/evenings.
• Must have 2 years foodservice or retail management.
• Reliable transportation and active driver’s license.

Responsibilities

• Process cash register transactions, giving back change and refunds.
• Learn to use register, scales, scanners and debit/credit terminals.
• Read UPC codes, product labels, shelf signage, register forms, and posted company policies/procedures.
• Prepare, wrap, weigh, slice, and stock deli/food service products.
• Prepare and cook deli items including fried foods, salads, sandwiches, beverages, and prepared meals.
• Work safely around slicers, ovens, and burners.
• Take guest orders and ensure timely completion.
• Maintain clean, organized check stand and production areas.
