Global Partners LP is seeking a Food Service Associate/Deli Clerk to manage deli and food service operations, maintain sanitation, and deliver guest service excellence. You’ll handle cash, learn scales and register functions, and support daily deli tasks in a fast-paced environment.

Qualifications

• Must be at least 16 years old.
• Flexibility to work weekends, holidays and evenings.
• Must have 2 years foodservice or retail management.
• Reliable transportation and an active driver's license.
• ServSafe certification preferred.
• Ability to lift up to 25 pounds occasionally.
• Work in walk-in coolers and freezers.
• Stand for long periods and handle heavy merchandise.
• Dexterity to use knives, slicers, burners and ovens.

Responsibilities

• Process cash register transactions, giving back change and refunds.
• Learn to use register, scales, scanners and debit/credit terminals.
• Read UPC codes, product labels, shelf signage, and posted policies.
• Prepare, wrap, weigh, slice and stock deli/food service products.
• Cook deli items, salads, sandwiches, and prepared meals on site.
• Ensure safe operation of slicers, ovens, fryers and burners.
• Display products following department guidelines.
• Take guest orders and ensure timely completion to guest satisfaction.
• Perform other duties as assigned by Store Manager.
