Job summary

Global Partners LP is seeking a Food Service Associate/Deli Clerk to manage daily deli and food service operations, ensuring sanitation, guest service, and accurate pricing.

Responsibilities include processing transactions, operating registers, preparing deli items, and maintaining clean work areas. Candidates must be 16+, with 2 years in foodservice or retail management, and Serv-Safe certification is a plus.

Qualifications

• Must be at least 16 years old.
• Must have 2 years foodservice or retail management.
• Serv-Safe certification preferred.
• Must be able to lift up to 25 pounds occasionally.
• Reliable transportation and a valid driver’s license required.
• Work in walk-in coolers and freezers.
• Minors may ONLY use OSHA approved knives.

Responsibilities

• Process cash register transactions, giving back change and refunds.
• Learn to use register, scales, scanners and debit/credit terminals.
• Prepare, wrap, weigh, slice, and stock deli/food service products.
• Maintain clean, neat, and orderly counter and production areas.
• Prepare deli items including meat, vegetables, salads, sandwiches, and beverages.
• Monitor pricing, signage, and product placement according to store guidelines.
• Take guest orders and ensure timely completion and guest satisfaction.
