Job summary

Global Partners LP is seeking a Food Service Associate / Deli Clerk to manage deli and food service daily operations, ensure sanitation, and deliver guest service. The role supports the store’s deli department with prep, stocking, and customer engagement.

Responsibilities include cash handling, using registers and scales, and maintaining product quality and pricing. The position requires weekend/evening availability and compliance with safety standards.

Qualifications

• High School Diploma or Equivalent.
• Applicants must be at least 16 years old.
• Flexibility to work weekends, holidays and evenings.
• Must have 2 years foodservice or retail management.
• Must have reliable transportation and an active driver’s license.
• Serv-Safe certification preferred.
• Must be able to lift up to 25 pounds occasionally.
• Work in walk-in coolers and freezers.
• Stand for long periods and handle equipment safely.

Responsibilities

• Process cash register transactions and provide change/refunds.
• Learn to use register, scales, scanners and payment terminals.
• Prepare, wrap, weigh, slice and stock deli/food service items.
• Maintain clean, organized check stand and production areas.
• Ensure proper pricing, signage and placement of products.
• Take guest orders and ensure timely, satisfactory fulfillment.
• Assist store manager with other duties as needed.
