Job summary

Buc-ee's is seeking an Assistant Food Service Manager in Melissa, TX to support all aspects of the department within our high-volume operation. The role emphasizes customer service, team development, and adherence to Buc-ee’s standards for cleanliness and in-stock items.

The ideal candidate will have a minimum of 5 years in food service, a bachelor’s degree is preferred, and proficiency with MS Office and POS systems. Weekend and holiday work are required.

Qualifications

• Bachelor degree preferred.
• Minimum of 5 years of relevant Food Service experience preferred.
• Proficiency in food planning and preparation, sanitation, and food handling.

Responsibilities

• Assist with all aspects of operating the department.
• Manage product offerings (jerky, smoked meats, sausage, BBQ, bakery, sandwiches, grab-and-go).
• Resolve customer issues quickly in a friendly, professional manner.
• Ensure compliance with federal, state, and local foodservice laws.
• Oversee safety rules and equipment usage.
