Job summary

Buc-ee's, Ltd. is seeking an Assistant Food Service Manager in a high-volume, fast-paced environment. The role focuses on assisting with all aspects of department operations while upholding Buc-ee's pillars of Clean, Friendly, and In Stock.

Ideal candidates have 5+ years in food service management, a customer-focused approach, and are comfortable with MS Office and POS devices. Relocation may be required; medical, dental, vision, PTO, and 401k matching are offered.

Qualifications

• Restaurant, retail or management experience preferred.
• Bachelor degree preferred.
• Minimum of 5 years of relevant Food Service experience preferred.
• Proficiency in MS Office including Excel & Outlook.
• Experienced with POS and transaction devices (kiosks, printers, tickets, touch screens).
• Acquire and maintain food service certifications.
• May require relocation.

Responsibilities

• Perform duties of the Food Service Manager in their absence or at discretion.
• Manage product offerings (Jerky, Smoked Meats, Sausage, BBQ, Bakery, Sandwiches, Grab and Go, Tacos, Burritos, Hot Dogs).
• Resolve customer issues quickly in a friendly and professional manner.
• Understand and apply applicable foodservice laws and employment rules.
• Ensure proper use of kitchen equipment and appliances.
• Manage food service employees and uphold quality and service.
• Complete operating reports accurately.
• Enforce safety rules and regulations.
• Interact professionally with team members and customers.
