Buc-ee’s, Ltd. in Texas is seeking an Assistant Food Service Manager to help run our high-volume department with a focus on cleanliness, friendliness, and in-stock excellence.

You will lead staff, manage product offerings from Jerky to Tacos, handle customer issues promptly, ensure compliance with food safety laws, and maintain safety and reporting standards. Weekend rotations and possible relocation may be required.

Qualifications

• Restaurant, retail or management experience preferred.
• Minimum of 5 years of relevant Food Service experience preferred.
• Proficiency in food planning and preparation, sanitation, and food handling.
• Proficient in MS Office including Excel and Outlook.
• May require relocation.
• Work weekends and holidays.
• Rotating day/night schedule.

Responsibilities

• Perform duties and responsibilities of the Food Service Manager in their absence.
• Manage product offerings including Jerky, Smoked Meats, Sausage, BBQ, Bakery, Sandwiches, Grab and Go, Tacos, Burritos, Hot Dogs.
• Resolve customer issues quickly in a friendly and professional manner.
• Understand and apply federal, state, and local laws in regards to foodservice and general employment matters.
• Ensure proper use of kitchen equipment including mixers, slicers, ovens, knives, and fryers.
• Oversee safety rules and generate and review operating reports.
• Interact professionally with team members and customers.
