Hy-Vee is seeking a Delicatessen Manager to lead a high-traffic department, drive freshness, quality and an outstanding customer experience. You’ll oversee daily operations, sales analysis, and promotions planning while mentoring a team in a fast-paced food environment.

You’ll recruit and train staff, manage scheduling, ordering, pricing and inventory, and interface with store leadership to achieve department goals and company standards.

Qualifikationen

• Requires strong customer service orientation and leadership.
• Prior experience leading a deli or fast-paced food service team preferred.
• Ability to analyze sales data, manage promotions, and maintain standards.

• Set and uphold department standards for service, cleanliness, sanitation, teamwork and profitability.
• Greet and engage with customers, leading by example to create a welcoming atmosphere.
• Assist customers with finding products and ensuring a great visit experience.
• Recruit, hire, train, supervise and evaluate department staff; handle performance matters as needed.
• Coordinate scheduling, daily work plans and department goals with store leadership.
• Oversee ordering, replenishment, pricing, invoicing and department bookkeeping.
• Analyze weekly sales trends, plan promotions and displays.
• Maintain proper product temperatures and freshness to minimize shrink.
• Troubleshoot equipment and coordinate maintenance as needed.
• Manage department inventory and pre-orders.
