Qualifications

• Experience leading a fast-paced department in a retail or food-service setting.
• Strong interpersonal skills and the ability to train and evaluate staff.
• Comfort with basic math for pricing, inventory, and sales analysis.

Responsibilities

• Set department standards for service, cleanliness, sanitation, and profitability.
• Recruit, hire, train, supervise, and evaluate Delicatessen staff.
• Coordinate scheduling and daily work plans with store leadership.
• Oversee ordering, pricing, invoicing, and department bookkeeping.
• Analyze sales trends and plan promotions and displays.
• Ensure proper temperatures, storage, and freshness; maintain equipment.
• Maintain dress code, hygiene, and company policies.
