Job summary

Brookshire Grocery Company is seeking an Assistant Deli Manager in Longview, TX. The role oversees deli operations, ensuring high standards of food safety, quality, and customer service.

You will train team members, manage scheduling, and support promotions while maintaining inventory efficiency and a welcoming store environment. The position requires a高中HS diploma or GED with experience, Food Handler and Manager Food Safety certifications, and the ability to work flexible hours including nights

Qualifications

• High school diploma or GED with 1+ year related experience, or equivalent
• Must be 18+ years; 21+ to drive for company business
• Food Handler certification required
• Manager Food Safety certification required

Responsibilities

• Train and develop partners; schedule, plan, assign, and direct work
• Review historical data on sales, ads and promotions; co-manage inventory to ensure in-stock levels
• Maintain and improve sales performance, financial results, and product quality
• Enforce quality control and food safety standards; rotate dated products
• Assist with slicing, weighing, packaging, labeling deli products; prepare catering and delivery orders
• Greet customers; answer questions and take orders by phone and in person
• Maintain clean, safe, sanitary work and shopping environment
