Job summary

Brookshire Grocery Company is seeking a deli supervisor to ensure hot and cold foods are prepared and displayed to company standards, oversee deli staff, and promote department sales and customer service.

The ideal candidate will have a high school diploma or GED with 2+ years of related experience, plus Food Handler and Manager Food Safety certifications. The role requires flexibility to work nights, weekends, and holidays in a retail setting.

Qualifications

• High school Diploma or GED and two+ years of related experience, or equivalent
• Minimum of 18 years of age; 21+ to drive for company business per policy
• Food Handler certification and Manager Food Safety certification required

Responsibilities

• Interview, hire, train, and develop partners.
• Plan, assign, and direct work; appraise performance.
• Oversee deli sales, inventory, and profitability objectives.
• Ensure quality control and food safety standards and rotate stock.
• Assist with catering orders and customer service.
• Maintain clean, safe and sanitary working environment.
