Job summary

Brookshire Grocery Company in Tyler, Texas is seeking a deli team member to ensure hot and cold foods are prepared and displayed to company standards, and to work with deli personnel to promote department sales and customer service.

You will train partners, manage inventory with item management processes, review sales data, assist with slicing and labeling, and help with catering and delivery orders while maintaining food safety and quality.

Qualifications

• High school diploma or GED plus 1+ year related experience.
• Food Handler certification required.
• Manager Food Safety certification required.
• Must be able to lift up to 40–75 lbs and stand for long periods.

Responsibilities

• Train and develop partners, schedule, plan, assign and direct work.
• Review historical data regarding sales, ads and promotions; co-manage inventory.
• Maintain and improve sales performance, financial results, and product quality.
• Enforce quality control and food safety standards; ensure proper stocking and rotation.
• Assist with catering and delivery orders; greet customers and take orders.
