Job summary

Boar's Head Brand is seeking a Retail Service Associate in Chicago to support in-field Retail Service Programs and supervise consumer-facing activities on the route. You will work with staff to ensure compliance and brand excellence, while building relationships with store and deli teams to grow sales.

Responsibilities include training deli staff, promoting the Boar's Head portfolio, managing inventory, and updating merchandising materials to showcase full product lines.

Qualifications

• Knowledge of Boar's Head products, including flavor, nutrition, and complementary items.
• Willingness to engage customers and actively promote Boar's Head Brand.
• Willingness to operate a slicer (training provided).
• Willingness to maintain consistent close interaction with consumers.
• Ability to transport and set up a folding table and utensils.

Responsibilities

• Provide behind the counter training for deli staff with emphasis on customer service and product knowledge.
• Develop relationships with store and deli managers and deli staff.
• Manage individual store inventory to optimize sales and reduce shrink.
• Monitor store performance to ensure program compliance at store level.
• Promote Boar's Head products by educating consumers on flavor and nutrition.
• Maintain retail presentations, ensure displays are stocked, clean, and properly priced.
• Assist with development and setup of new accounts.
• Support route effectiveness and efficiency as assigned.
