Food Lion in Raleigh, NC is seeking a Deli Bakery HMS Department Supervisor to support store operations, supervise deli bakery associates, and help meet financial and sales goals. You will lead the team, coach staff, and ensure a safe, friendly shopping experience.

Responsibilities include labor management, scheduling, ordering, maintaining appearance and sanitation, adherence to policies, and training. You will collaborate with management to drive results and uphold Food Lion's standards.

Qualifications

• High school diploma or equivalent preferred.
• Ability to lead and manage a team.
• Strong store operations and merchandising knowledge preferred.
• Effective communication, customer service, and selling skills.
• Willingness to learn multiple tasks and technical requirements of the job.
• Ability to use technical information to solve problems.
• Must meet minimum age requirements to perform specific job function.
• Must be accredited as a Certified Food Safety Manager or obtain certification within 90 days of employment; accreditation must be maintained.

Responsabilités

• Manage the Deli Bakery HMS Department in the absence of the Deli Manager and supervise HMS Associates.
• Daily management of labor and coaching of associates to meet productivity expectations.
• Provide leadership to promote a culture aligned with Brand Strategy and Culture.
• Support achievement of budgeted financial and operating results.
• Maintain customer-focused service and create a positive shopping experience for customers.
• Model outstanding, friendly customer service and use department knowledge to meet customer needs.
• Control department expenses through ordering and equipment care.
• Adhere to company policies, dress code, and safety guidelines.
• Ensure compliance with regulations and proper reporting of accidents and incidents.
