Job summary

RoShay Services is seeking a capable Store Department Lead to run daily retail operations in the absence of the department manager. You will oversee staff training, scheduling, and adherence to company standards to meet performance goals.

You will manage inventory, ensure product freshness and quality, supervise stocking and QA tasks, stay informed about promotions, and support safety and cleanliness guidelines across the department. This on-site role is based in Michigan.

Qualifications

• High school diploma or equivalent; retail experience preferred.
• Strong communication, organization, decision-making, and leadership skills.
• Knowledge of retail operations, management systems, and suggestive selling.
• Proficiency in MS Office; bilingual skills (English/Spanish) desirable.

Responsibilities

• Order, maintain, and control inventory to ensure freshness and minimize loss.
• Validate received orders for quality and accuracy; manage storage and rotation.
• Supervise stocking, production, and quality assurance tasks.
• Stay informed about store products, promotions, and sales programs.
• Implement weekly plans, manage scheduling, and support labor and payroll control.
• Assist in staffing, training, performance management, and department goals.
• Maintain a clean, safe, and attractive department environment, following safety guidelines.
• Participate in meetings and adapt tasks across departments as needed.
