Job summary

RoShay Services in Detroit is seeking a reliable Deli & Bakery Associate to prepare, package, display, and stock deli and bakery items. You will work with team members to meet merchandising standards and food safety guidelines, contributing to guest experience and store profitability.

Responsibilities include stocking backroom with fresh products, labeling, rotation, and assisting other departments as needed while adhering to safety and cleanliness protocols.

Qualifications

• High school diploma or GED preferred.
• Experience in retail or food service is preferred.
• Basic math and reading comprehension skills.
• Detail-oriented with the ability to interpret documents.

Responsibilities

• Prepare, package, and merchandise bakery and deli items according to plans and expectations.
• Stock backroom with fresh products, ensuring proper rotation and dating.
• Communicate effectively with team members regarding tasks, recipes, and safety procedures.
• Follow all safety, food safety, PPE, and guest experience guidelines.
• Assist with tasks in other departments as needed to support customer needs.
• Notify management of supplies and product needs.
• Additional duties may be assigned based on operational requirements.
