Food Lion is seeking a Deli Bakery HMS Manager to support store operations and drive department performance in Raleigh, NC. You will supervise the Deli Bakery HMS team in the manager's absence, coach labor, and uphold Food Lion's service standards to ensure a positive customer experience.

You will lead by example, manage costs, and ensure compliance with safety and policy guidelines while coordinating with the broader store team to meet financial goals.

Qualifications

• High school diploma or equivalent preferred.
• Ability to lead and manage a team.
• Strong understanding of store operations and merchandising techniques preferred.
• Effective communication, customer service, and selling skills.
• Ability and willingness to learn multiple tasks and technical requirements of the job.
• Must meet minimum age requirements to perform specific job function.
• National Registry of Food Safety Professionals certification or equivalent training within 90 days.

Responsibilities

• Supervise Deli Bakery HMS Associates in the absence of the Deli Manager.
• Manage daily labor and coach associates to meet productivity expectations.
• Provide leadership to promote a culture aligned with Food Lion Brand Strategy.
• Help achieve budgeted financial and operating results.
• Ensure fast, friendly customer service and a positive shopping experience.
