Job summary

Food Lion is seeking a Deli Bakery HMS Supervisor to support store operations in Savannah, GA. You will lead the Deli Bakery HMS team, manage labor, and drive exceptional customer service while aligning with Food Lion’s culture and standards.

Qualifications

• High school graduate or equivalent preferred.
• Ability to lead and manage a team.
• Strong understanding of store operations and merchandising techniques preferred.
• Effective communication, customer service, and selling skills.
• Ability and willingness to learn multiple tasks and technical requirements of the job.
• Ability to use technical information to solve problems.
• Must meet minimum age requirements to perform specific job function.
• Must be accredited by the National Registry of Food Safety Professionals or similar accrediting organization as a "Certified Food Safety Manager" or attend company training and achieve accreditation within 90 days.

Responsibilities

• Manage the Deli Bakery HMS Department in the absence of the Deli Manager and supervise the duties of HMS Associates.
• Oversee daily labor and coach associates to meet productivity goals.
• Provide leadership to promote Food Lion Brand culture and strong customer service.
• Support achievement of budgeted financial and operating results.
• Maintain an atmosphere of enthusiastic customer service and a positive shopping experience.
• Ensure department policies, safety, sanitation and appearance standards are followed.
