Harris Teeter is seeking a Full Time Deli Bakery Management Assistant to help supervise up to 80 associates in the Fresh Foods Department. You will assist the Department Manager with overall direction, coordination, and evaluation, and may perform duties as baker, cake decorator, or clerk as needed.

The role requires strong supervisory, communication, and training skills, with emphasis on customer service and teamwork. GED or high school diploma and related experience preferred.

Competenze

• High school diploma or GED or equivalent combination of education and experience.
• Experience in supervising or leading a team preferred.
• Ability to communicate clearly and professionally in English.

Mansioni

• Assist to manage and supervise up to 80 associates in the Fresh Foods Department.
• Assist the Department Manager with overall direction, coordination, and evaluation of the department.
• Interview and train associates; plan, assign, and direct work; appraise performance; reward and discipline as needed.
• Address complaints and resolve problems to maintain customer satisfaction.
• Perform duties of baker/fryer, cake decorator, and other Fresh Foods clerks and chefs as needed.
