Harris Teeter in Ashburn, VA is seeking a Full Time Deli Bakery Management Assistant to support the Fresh Foods Department by supervising up to 80 associates, assisting the Department Manager with direction and evaluation, and ensuring policies are followed.

You will interview and train staff, plan and direct daily work, appraise performance, address complaints, and help maintain high standards of food safety and customer service.

Formación

• High school diploma or GED required; 1–3 years related experience and/or training or equivalent combination of education and experience.
• Commitment to unparalleled customer service; excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
• Willingness to participate in and complete required training; work with the team to increase customer satisfaction and sales.
• Complete Company’s training including new hire orientation, customer service network, safety, food safety, and department manager training.

Responsabilidades

• Assist to manage and supervise up to 80 associates in the Fresh Foods Department.
• Assist the Department Manager with overall direction, coordination, and evaluation of the department.
• Interviewing and training associates.
• Planning, assigning, and directing work.
• Assist in appraising performance, rewarding and disciplining associates.
• Addressing complaints and resolving problems.
