Job summary

Food Lion in Roebuck, SC is seeking a capable Deli Bakery HMS Supervisor to support store operations and lead the Deli Bakery HMS Associates in the absence of the Deli Manager.

You will manage labor, coach associates to meet productivity targets, uphold safety and sanitation standards, control costs, and ensure friendly, fast service that aligns with Food Lion’s culture and brand strategy.

Qualifications

• High school diploma or equivalent preferred.
• Ability to lead and manage a team.
• Strong understanding of store operations and merchandising techniques preferred.
• Effective communication and customer service skills.
• Willingness to learn multiple tasks and technical requirements of the job.
• Ability to apply technical information to solve problems.
• Must meet minimum age requirements for the position.
• Must be accredited as a Certified Food Safety Manager or qualify for company training to achieve accreditation within 90 days.

Responsibilities

• Manage the Deli Bakery HMS Department in the absence of the Deli Manager and supervise HMS Associates.
• Daily management of labor and coaching to meet productivity targets.
• Provide leadership to promote a culture aligned with Brand Strategy and Culture.
• Support achievement of budgeted financial and operating results.
• Ensure fast, friendly, and helpful customer service and a positive shopping experience.
• Ensure department appearance, quality, and sanitation are maintained.
• Utilize company tools and systems (ACIS, scheduling, reports).
• Adhere to company guidelines, policies, and safety regulations.
