Food Lion is seeking a Deli Bakery HMS Supervisor to support store operations and leadership in delivering a strong customer experience. You will supervise associates, manage labor, and help meet financial targets while upholding Food Lion's culture and brand standards.

The role requires effective communication, merchandising know-how, and a commitment to food safety. You will ensure clean, safe prep areas and compliant procedures in a fast-paced deli environment.

Qualifications

• High school diploma or equivalent preferred.
• Ability to lead and manage a team.
• Strong understanding of store operations and merchandising techniques preferred.
• Effective communication, customer service, and selling skills.
• Ability and willingness to learn multiple tasks and technical requirements of the job.
• Must be accredited by the National Registry of Food Safety Professionals or similar as a "Certified Food Safety Manager" or obtain accreditation within 90 days.

Responsibilities

• Manage the Deli Bakery HMS Department in the absence of the Deli Manager and supervise HMS associates.
• Daily management of labor and coaching to meet productivity expectations.
• Provide leadership and motivate the store to reflect the brand culture.
• Support achievement of budgeted financial and operating results.
• Deliver friendly customer service and create a positive shopping experience.
