Food Lion is seeking a Deli Bakery HMS Supervisor to support store operations and lead the team in the absence of the Deli Manager. You will manage labor, coach associates, and uphold our brand culture while driving financial results.

Qualifications

• High school graduate or equivalent preferred.
• Ability to lead and manage a team.
• Strong understanding of store operations and merchandising techniques preferred.
• Effective communication, customer service, and selling skills.
• Ability and willingness to learn multiple tasks and technical requirements of the job.
• Ability to use technical information to solve problems.
• Must meet minimum age requirements to perform specific job function.
• Must be accredited by a Food Safety program or able to achieve accreditation within 90 days.

Responsibilities

• Manage the Deli Bakery HMS Department in the absence of the Deli Manager.
• Daily management of labor and coaching of associates to achieve productivity.
• Provide leadership and motivation within the store to promote Brand Strategy and Culture.
• Support the achievement of budgeted financial and operating results.
• Ensure exceptional customer service and maintain a positive shopping experience.
